Student Placements – Making a Difference to lives
Thank you for your interest in completing your placement with us at John Curtin Aged Care.
John Curtin Aged Care has a strong history of providing quality learning opportunities for students undertaking placements. We are committed to providing students with the opportunity of integrating theory into practice learnt and do meaningful work to improve the lives of our residents and their families.
Applicants must have the support of their tertiary institution for their placement. It is the responsibility of the institution to accept all liability for the student during placement. The institution is expected to cover the student for workcover, public liability and professional indemnity insurance purposes. No payment will be made by John Curtin to the student. Prior to commencement, you must undergo or have had the necessary compliance checks completed.

- Expression of Interest Application form
- Current COVID-19 & Flu Vaccination certificate
- Current police check report
- Placement Agreement from Educational Institution with us
- Educational Institution Indemnity Insurance Certificate
We welcome your expression of interest, and we will do everything to accommodate your request, however please be aware that opportunities are limited, due to the high level of interest in student placements on our facility.
